I am an Educational Technologist in a K-5 elementary school in Rockaway, NJ. I teach Computer Literacy skills as well as assist and collaborate with staff on curriculum projects that incorporate technology. I participate in many curriculum committees including most recently one researching 21st Century learning tools. Our district is technology rich and my goals are to close the gap between my students and the rest of the world through online collaboration and the use of web 2.0 tools. I also teach professional development classes for staff on various educational technology topics. In my almost 20 years teaching computers I have seen many changes in technology but am more excited than ever to incorporate the vast collection of web 2.0 tools into the curriculum standards.
